We are happy to book any available flight that suits your particular  requirements, rather than restricting our holidays to certain flights on specific days. Supplements will apply to cover the differential in cost between your chosen flight option and the standard option upon which our brochure prices are based.

As most airlines now operate “fluid pricing” policies with fares rising and falling in line with supply and demand, typical flight supplements are shown for guidance purposes only. As a general rule, supplements tend to be highest for weekend flights, especially for school holidays departures such as Christmas, Easter and Half Term, when demand invariably outstrips supply. We will provide a definite quote for your chosen departure date at the time of booking. 

All flight timings shown are based upon information supplied to us by the relevant airlines at the time of our brochure going to press, and are subject to confirmation by the airport authorities and Air Traffic Control. Please note that schedules may change, both before and after you book. We will quote you the latest available timings at the time of booking, and advise you of any significant schedule changes that may occur subsequently, but please be aware that such changes are outside our control, and only constitute a “major change” under the terms of our booking conditions if the departure time of your outbound flight changes by 12 hour or more from the timings confirmed on your original confirmation invoice. 

Unless stated otherwise, check-in time for all flights is two hours prior to the confirmed departure time on your flight tickets, which you will receive approximately two weeks in advance of travel.

Flights to Madeira 

Our prices are based on direct charter flights from London Gatwick to Funchal Airport (FNC) on Mondays. Subject to flight schedules and availability, we can also arrange flights on other days of the week and from regional airports at the typical supplements shown below.

Please note that the selection of flights is more limited during the summer season and departures from some regional airports may not be possible then.

The flight time to Funchal is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes and the local time is the same as in the U.K.

Scheduled Flights and Club Class Upgrades 

TAP Air Portugal operates regular flights to Funchal (often via Lisbon or Oporto) from Gatwick and Heathrow, as well as upgrades to Navigator (Club) Class. We can arrange domestic connections from a selection of regional airports, as well as Please contact us for a quote.

Flights to Porto Santo

Flights to Porto Santo are via Funchal (Madeira). The flight time from Funchal to Porto Santo is only 20 minutes. Depending on the season and the day of the week, there are approximately 3 flights a day, so depending on the schedule of your international flight, you may have something of a wait for your onward connection, or even require an overnight stay on Madeira at the start or end of your holiday. We will advise you on suitable connections and quote for any necessary overnight stops at the time of booking. In the unlikely event that flight delays or adverse weather conditions should cause you to miss your onward connection, we will do our best to rebook you on the next available flight and arrange overnight accommodation if necessary.

Multi-Centre Holidays

If you wish to try two or more different locations during your holiday we are more than happy to advise you on your selection of properties. You can select two different locations on any one island, or you can combine Madeira with Porto Santo, or even Madeira with one or more of the Azorean islands.
